"Dragonfly" evening
A brilliant evening the talk being given by Nick Martin of
BTCV .
Whilst the number in attendance was below what we had hoped for, there was
nonetheless an air of expectancy and enthusiasm for what was about to come.
The illustrated talk was extremely informative and the power point presentation
which accompanied it was excellent. We were left in no doubt as to what we
had seen or expected to see! So many different strains of "Odonata" and which
we definitely wanted to have around our pond.
We had 14 in attendance including some committee members but we long to see
some of our long standing members making an appearance. Still, our evening
on "Owls" on 9th June with Pennine Edge
Barn Owl Group (PEBOG) is coming up and will present a further opportunity.
Such and interesting and informative evening on this awesome species! Definitely
to be repeated…so watch this space…
